Fishing
In the recreational fishing area of Ylivuokki, you can fish in the numerous lakes, small forest ponds and rapids. The area has an extensive network of forest roads and most fishing sites are easily accessible. Perch, pike and zander are the most common prey species. In the rapids, trout and silvery grayling are caught. Lake Vuokkijärvi is the largest lake in the area, about 30 km long.
