Processing of personal data
Vienan reitti ry acknowledges its responsibilities as a data controller and processes personal data collected in accordance with the data protection legislation and official guidance in force at any given time, ensuring the realisation of privacy protection and data security.
Vienan reitti ry collects personal data from its members who are over 18 years of age. Personal data is collected via a membership form (Join the Association page) and requests the following personal data.
- Name (first and last name, mandatory information)
- Email address (optional information)
- Mobile number (required information)
The collection of member register information is based on the Association Act. The collection of other information is based on the purpose, rules, and activities of the Vienan reitti ry association. Only and exclusively the information that is appropriate for the activities is collected in the member register.
The data is stored in a secure database. The membership register data is retained for the duration of the membership. Upon termination of membership, personal data will be deleted from the membership register within 12 months.
The membership register is stored securely on an external server. If membership details are printed or recorded on a separate attendance list, for example for event attendance, these details will be carefully destroyed after the activity. Personal data is always stored securely and access by third parties is prevented.
Access to the membership register is restricted to those association officials for whom it is necessary for the performance of their duties. According to the Association Act, a member of the association also has the right to inspect the information in the membership register.
Personal data will never be disclosed to a third party.
You can check, add to, and change your details in the member register yourself, or you can ask the data controller (see the next section) to make the changes. In addition, we send members requests via email to check their own details.
